About Me.
I've always been captivated by the big screen and television; technology has revolutionised storytelling, enabling us to show life in its rawest forms in factual and fictional productions.
Being able to channel my creativity, imagination and passion into creating the most engaging and exciting media content with the potential of bringing the same joy I experience when watching television to other people is the most exciting and rewarding challenge that motivates me to do better every day. I completed Four Skills, an online work experience course that took place over six weeks, I completed modules giving me further insight into all aspects of television production. I completed a week’s work experience at UJIMA radio in April 2023, working on their breakfast show and evening show I contributed new local stories and innovative ideas to the broadcasts as well as learning how to produce for a live radio broadcast as well as present live on air. I was invited to take on a permenant position as a content creator for UJIMA after completing my work experience which I have been doing since finishing. SKILLS Proficient in using Adobe Premier Pro, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Audition, Myriad software and Photoshop to make highquality edits to video and audio footage. Comfortable operating camera, lighting and audio equipment on set or location to get the best quality footage by myself or as part of a team. I create innovative and interesting ideas for programmes that are topical and gripping, by looking to the future and always asking what is next. My time at University has helped me discover I am an excellent communicator with people from different walks of life. I was able to build such a repour with people that they would agree to film with me and give up their time for free, even for difficult topics; I believe this speaks to my excellent people skills and communications skills which will follow me throughout my working life. |
